Designed for current college students ages 18-21, WIRED Summer Lab will give you the confidence to engage with frontier technologies, and the knowledge of where and how best to deploy them, in order for you to have the greatest impact in the workforce. Hosted at iconic locations like WIRED HQ, the Design Museum, and our own campus at Bedford Square in Central London, participants will engage in hands-on workshops, interactive seminars, and insightful lectures led by industry leaders and pioneering innovators.

From understanding emerging technologies to exploring design thinking, this program offers a curriculum focused on building tech industry knowledge and key skills for navigating your next steps in the field.

Participants will work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from tech experts, and showcase their thinking in a final project presentation to a panel of technologists and experts.

Who is it for

All applicants must be at least 18 years old by the beginning of the program and currently enrolled in, or considering enrolling in, an undergraduate university program.

Anyone with an interest in the technologies and trends shaping our world are encouraged to apply. The program is not focused specifically on engineering or coding, and there is no requirement to have any prior technical experience in this area.
